could you please introduce your self or give us a short introduction of İLKİM OULANEM to the readers ?
I’m a black metal musician. İlkim oulanem is the first and only one woman black metal Project in turkey..
2-When you first started İLKİM OULANEM , what factor of the project made you most uncomfortable and what is your goal?
I started to the Project 2008 september with my demo ‘the alarm’ ı had a black metal band since 2004 called ‘messershmit’ but ı could not do music with my band members. After ı terminated the band and ilkim oulanem Project born!
3-What are the metal bands that influenced you or motivated you ?
Underground black metal –death metal and grind –gore bands, ı like it. And immortal of course..
4-What kind of music do you listen to yourself ?
I’m listening underground metal and listening classical music sometimes..
5-How is the metal scene in Turkey ?
İf you are great and clever, turkey metal scene is good. I will create very good black metal scene in turkey soon!!
6-What is Black Metal to you?
I’m feeling black metal when ı walk in the street, when ı drink, when ı make music myself or live.. black metal is music of course but, not only music for me and for special soldiers like me.
7- Being a pretty girl as you and make a one woman black metal band ? how was it at first , is it hard ?
Not hard or not heavy for me. I’m making this for my life. I was born for make it!
8-What are some of your non-musical influences?
Sorry, ı can’t understand the question..
9-What do you think about the events that took place in Norway by many bands of the first wave of true black metal ?
I think norway is a great country for live and black metal. But ı’m thinking a special person can be black metal in every country. How many years and sex is not important for me also..
10- What can you tell us about the songs that are available on your officiel myspace page ?
I have 3 songs in my myspace page. ‘Hey kukla!’ from the demo ‘the alarm’ and the other 2 songs from new e.p. ‘iblisbilim’ They are special songs for me..
11- What can you tell us about your EP, " Iblisbilim " ?
İblisbilim is my first e.p. ı relesed the e.p. in october. (self release and free download.) it has great download number from the world. I’m waiting the time for new product
12-How do you write your music? Is there a set guideline or do you write what you feel as you go along?
I writing my song suddenly.. To write is in fact an internal speech form e.
13 - What you have planned after the EP, " Iblisbilim " ?
My plan is new and last e.p. ı created 5 song for it.
14 - Any gigs ?
Yeah, ı was in the scene 6 times in turkey. I have a live band now and we will in the scene soon..
15-Any fav bands to get on stage with ?
I have 2 or 3 favorite black metal bands in turkey which ı wan’t tos hare the scene.
16- What is the biggest change compared to your the debut ?
İnstruments rule.
17-Did you ever met some negative sides of playing metal ? And what do you like or,what do you dislike on the present scene?
Sometimes peole only look to me when I am in the scene . turkey have jealous peole. Me and musicians like me want real black metal scene in turkey.
18- What is your opinion about this kind of black metal antihuman Black Metal ,NS Black Metal and Christian Black Metal?
I don’t like defined black metal. Black metal is only black metal for me. I don’t think abaut NS, christian or antichristian black metal..
19- Black metal bands frequently use Satanic imagery as a metaphor for individualism and personal freedom whatdo you think about the Satanic imagery ?
Satanic imagery is better than godder imagery!
20 -What is your daily consumption amount of alcohol,cigarettes,drugs ?
I like the drugs sometimes but ı don’t use always.. ı’m creating and recording my songs with pure and healthy brain like now..
