2.Pillars of Decay

3.Insignificance of Evil

4.The Silent Alignment

5.Echoes of Pain

6.Dead Inside, Alive for a Lie

7.Abstract Salvation

8.Essence of Existence

9.The Collapse Within

Since their first album Animadverte, eleven years ago, Proclama was released nine years after their first album, Insight seven years later, and finally their fourth album Daimon Released in March 2026 via Masked Dead Records

Adversam's Daimon is a highly praised Italian black metal album, described as a cold, technical, and atmosphere-driven 40-minute

It explores mystical themes, the dark nature of humanity, and the meaning of existence, this return after a break from Adversam offers a modern black metal sound influenced by the old school style.with a clinical and modern production

Critics highlight Katharos’s powerful vocals, varied riffs, and a balance of old-school brutality with modern touch, synth-backed production of melodies and soundscapes using synthesizers when the tempo drops and the atmospheric mood appears, Adversam's 2026 album Daimon is described as a raw, brutal, atmospheric, and heavy  (raw and heavy) showcasing a modern sound that remains respectful of the classic black metal school, it is intense and fast, designed to create a dark and ritualistic atmosphere. Adversam's album Daimon stands out for its raw, technical and deeply atmospheric instrumental approach. The guitars use open chords and dissonant intervals. This creates an immediate sense of discomfort, typical of modern black metal, with a presence of true traditional black metal with memorable riffs , icy dissonance these guitars use open chords and dissonant intervals followed by surgical tremolo picking, the main melodies are carried by ultra-fast picking. The notes follow one another to form a continuous and hypnotic wall of sound.

The band alternate styles between waves of extreme saturation and heavier, almost Doom-like passages, where every chord is sustained to weigh down the atmosphere in any case tempo change at right time from a frenetic pace to rigid mid-tempos

The drumming on Adversam's Daimon serves as the driving spine of the entire album, balancing raw velocity with calculated precision…………, Blast beats are relentless…. track to pay attention Pillars of Decay, Echoes of Pain, The Collapse Within the little bit bored track Dead Inside, Alive for a Lie

Eleven years after their last misdeed, this album stands as the ultimate ritual of the Italian underground occult scene ,but apart from a few moments of distortion that stifle the melodic and technical work of the overall structure, the album loses a little clarity despite this, so you can add this album to your collection undoubtedly.

Skaphos - The Descent (2026)

Label:Les Acteurs de l'Ombre Productions

Tracklist:

1. Nese Ende

2. Okean

3. Mireborn

4. Ube

5. The Descent

6. Horror Squid

7. The Brine Seal

8. Mariana Tomb

The Descent (2026) is an album of abyssal blackened death metal (a mix of dark, aggressive atmosphere and bestial brutality) by the French band Skaphos. (Released April 10, 2026) via Les Acteurs de l’Ombre Productions. With densest, compact and most ritualistic sound, the album is described as a "merciless black vortex" and a journey into cosmic horror. Featuring dark and organic artwork, it blends the dissonance of black metal with the raw power of death metal, creating a suffocating and abyssal atmosphere. The mixing brings renewed clarity and power to the original compositions. Some critics note, however, that the mixing can sometimes overemphasize the melodies at the expense of perfect sonic balance. One could say it's a meticulous, clinical production using cutting-edge technology, which has become more common since the days of raw, dirty productions in garages, caves, cellars, or basements are over, even though previously inexpensive productions offered us masterpieces that delighted our ears. This extreme fusion combines the technical brutality of death metal with the chaotic and dark atmosphere of black metal. Characterized by rapid blast beats, heavily distorted guitars, and guttural or screamed vocals, it reminds us of names like old Behemoth and Hate, or perhaps Azarath, particularly Polish bands, as Poland is the benchmark for massive blackened death metal, not forgetting Finland. And speaking of technique... The album The Descent pushes Skaphos' technical execution towards something much more surgical and massive than their original releases. This is no longer the "lo-fi" of self-produced metal, but a demonstration of modern Blackened Death.

The playing technique on this album relies on a constant contrast between death metal heaviness and black metal dissonance. According to my research, the guitarists, faithful to the influence of The Great Old Ones or Ulcerate, use a lot of dissonant intervals and "open" textures to create this feeling of oceanic depth. There's a rapid alternation between tremolo picking (very fast and fluid) for the ambient sections, and very choppy and percussive palm muting for the more Death Metal passages (like on the track "Mireborn"). The album makes extensive use of hissing harmonics and guitar screams that reinforce the "cosmic horror" and organic aspect. Regarding the drums, blast beats are omnipresent, but they aren't linear. A lot of technical skill is present.

Tracks to pay attention: Nese Ende, Mireborn and The Descent.

The Descent is very acceptable Gloomy dark powerful and ritualistic work, so many fans can undoubtedly add this album to their collection.

4. Barbara

5. Les Nords

6. Terre d'Euch Mau

7. Le galibot

8. Schlamms

From France, composed by Diffamie (vocals), Thomas Deffrasnes (guitar/vocals), Clément Joly (bass), and Robin Grabmann (drums), via Les Acteurs de l’Ombre Productions, presents, Euch’mau Noir Bis via Les Acteurs de l’Ombre

By the first preview claustrophobic atmosphere and underground terror the album falls the listener into the mine tunnels with a cinematic intro blending menacing keyboard pads and the sounds of pickaxes followed with French narration ….. as Galibots means apprentice miners with an historical theme the lyrics deal with black faces, pit horses and the tragic fate of child miners (The Galibots, Les Galibots in French), creating an atmosphere that is at once epic, angry and full of despair, the sound evokes a raging hell and a visceral tribute to the land.

The production is described as rough and abrupt, but significantly more legible, allowing the sharp melodies and martial rhythms with tempo changes at right time to stand out now you can add this album to your collection., overall, the recording and mixing are perfect, cutting edge of technology (modern production), guitars are incisive with a surprising groove for Black Metal (a little not too much ), while the drums remain correctly executeDiffamie's (Agathe's) voice is a major highlight, delivering a furious and spectral scream (but not too much evil just aggressive) that manages to remain intelligible despite the fury, Euch’mau Noir Bis alternates between fast and aggressive tracks…...tracks to pay attention Cheval De Fosse, Les Nords, and the best of the album Schlamms

In any case, with its strong local roots and an album cover that adequately describes the theme and subject matter, Galibot stands out as a remarkable discovery of the French black metal scene………….. now you can add this album to your collection.

Autarkeon - Sous la surface (2026) (Single)

Label: Self-Released

Autarkeon is a solo project of French underground Old School Death metal a blend of raw power and dark atmospheres, which has existed for over 15 years.

Recently Autarkeon self-released "Sous la surface / Under the Surface" the first preview sound who take pleasure to the ears of old schooler with old guitar riffs from first wave of death metal

A raw, dark, gritty aesthetic inherited from the late 80s and early 90s. Unlike modern productions often considered too polished or academically uniform, this single feature an organic sound texture and a strong presence of macabre imagery, not to mention the cavernous, resonant effect, especially in relation to the vocals. Abyssal vocals: deep, guttural growls that seem to come from beyond the grave, prioritizing raw emotion, raw crushing music with fuzzy guitars and tempo changes at right time, unfortunately the drum programming not very fit with this work in any case is there a little similarity with some great names maybe Autopsy ,Pestilence, Cancer maybe Protector (I’m not sure) ……

Autarkeon proves his ability to reinventing their own universe.

French Old School Death Metal (doomed and blackened death metal or blackened death-doom) After two demos and an EP, the French duo returns with Atavistic Voracity

By the first preview I loved their concept of doomish sort of bestial black/death metal with domination of bass guitar and for raw crushing music with fuzzy guitars, mid-tempo with groovy times in any case tempo changes at right time between fast and slow ……. thick drums, and low growls/cavernous vocals……. , their good job remember me a great names like Incantation and some '80s/early '90s dark abyssal doom death bands you can get  some good ideas about the similarity

Abhorrent Execration have the potential to continue on the strength of Atavistic Voracity in any case I think you can add it to your collection

Perdition Temple - Malign Apotheosis (2025)

Label: Hells Headbangers Records

Track Listing:

1.Resurrect Damnation

2.Kingdoms of the Bloodstained

3.Purging Conflagration

4.Death Insurrection

5.Malign Apotheosis

6.Agony Unto Revelation

7.Bellum Ab Infernum

8.Fell Sorcery

Perdition Temple, this power trio, stands at the heart of the death metal maelstrom. Malign Apotheosis is their latest (fifth full-length) album, and they waste no time in annihilating the listener. Savage, ferocious, brutal, yet absolutely cohesive in the style of, Perdition Temple's cyclonic sound is instantly recognizable: bilious, blackened, and overflowing with a chaotic and carnivorous intent. Malign Apotheosis manages to distinguish itself through its composition; riffs (riffs are insane Brutal and fantastic,) solos…. the drumming is really creative. There are slower tempos throughout, and breakdowns (tempo down at the right time) form an incandescent symbiosis, pure malevolence to the very end. The album's recording deserves special mention: a raw, rustic sound and perfect, state-of-the-art sound quality. This sound, contrasting with the new sonic textures present on the album, makes Malign Apotheosis a true triumph, both a consolidation and a renewal.

An ideal album for fans of Morbid Angel, Immolation, and Angelcorpse. In any case, you can add this album directly to your collection.

Hellstorm Apocalypse - Demo (2025)

Label: Sphere Of Apparition Records

Track Listing

01 - Nocturnal Deviltry

02 - Hellstorm Apocalypse

03 - Legion of Ash and Bone

04 - Turn to the Dark

05 - Hymn of Hate

This is what I call metal just by the preview, we can listen fuckin sound from coming the deep underground cave from hell …. sound which scares away and flee all fuckin modern metal styles of shitt who invade the death and black metal …..

Hellstorm Apocalypse are a band from Australia that plays a dark mixture of black and death metal and this is a review of their self-titled 2025 demo which will be released in November by Sphere of Apparition Records

Hellstorm Apocalypse delivers five tracks and just under 30 minutes of destructive, dark black/death metal, including a cover of Armoured Angel's (Hymn of Hate). Thick, churning riffs, harsh vocal nasty edge vocals are a mixture of black metal screams and death metal growls, with a focus on a military theme. drums are sick and aggressive and dynamic synth passages (heavier part) combine to create insidiously aphotic soundscapes and fast and raw musical direction which utilizes a great amount of tremolo picking and blast beats, the music is also very heavily rooted in the 90's era along with the solos and leads also remaining true to an old school to give us sounds raw sound and seems to be perfect no needs to cutting edge technology for the production.

In any case you must wait for their first album because everybody guesses a fuckin full-length album cannot be too far off.

Encelado - Pillars of Creation (2025)

 Label: Regenerate Records

Track listing:

1. Dark Nebulas

2. Gravety

3. Fragments Of Fear

4. Pillars Of Creation

This is the debut release of Encelado with the EP Pillars of Creation which is very brief just four songs over 14:00 min, this Italian duo is formed in 2024 with sound that dig into the depths of the cosmos and the mind, death in any case the basic style is death metal ,……adding some dose of  technical brutality with an album cover that is very reminiscent of modern technical death metal but what is weird the cover art looks similar to Nightbearer's new album (Defiance), their music can back to your head a mix of great names maybe like Cannibal Corpse , Aborted side brutal death and The Faceless for the technical cosmic death side but Encelado is not really technical enough and the artwork album cover give us the futuristic cosmic themes  preview , so if I begin to talk about the performances of the band at first take notice the Insane vocals who  adds to the unsettling, otherworldly atmosphere , vocals are  characterized by deep, guttural growls that are often delivered in a unique style the technical guitar and bass work from Damien, explosive drumming from two session drummer, and subtle, atmospheric synthesizers to evoke a space theme rightly performed.

The EP a strong debut with recording quality that reaches the cutting edge of technology

Pillars of Creation is an interesting and promising release from this Italian duo

In any case, everybody guesses a full-length album cannot be too far off, in the meantime you can add Pillars of Creation to your collection.

Path of Redemption - Echoes from the Depths (2025)

Label: Northern Shadow

Track Listing

1.Profane Darkness

2.Path of Redemption

3.Where Broken Spirits Lie

4.Horizon

Path of Redemption from Spain is another band I wasn't familiar with before this review. And if you approach music completely ignorantly, no. I also have a reason to do more research. Path of Redemption, launched in 2024 by three veterans of the underground metal scene, combines Map (OUIJA) on guitar and vocals, Fosc (LAFOSCA) on drums, synths, and backing vocals, and Shogoth (ESTERTOR, OUIJA, ERED) on bass and guitar. Together, they've created a dark and intense EP—a storm of sound and shadow that will sweep inexorably over you. Musically, the band engages in a powerful and melodic blend of old-school black and death metal captivating and imbued with a dark grace. Now we take a look at their latest release: the four-track debut EP "Echoes From The Depths" was released in July 2025 via Northern Shadow Canadian record, brevity of this album just five songs but over 18:38 min, First of these four tracks intro who takes the auditor to gloomy dark ambient universe but don't allow me to say so much because it’s just a short debut EP.

"Echoes From The Depth" shows a preview of Path Of Redemption   a blend of melodic old-school black metal and death metal that delivers both intensity and atmosphere to pay attention "Profane Darkness" and "Where Broken Spirits Lie" but maybe the band try to prove that they have mastered the art of dark and powerful music.

In any case, everybody guesses a full-length album cannot be too far off.

wait for their first album because if this one can be great, you can just imagine their debut full length.

Dissidence - Seven Crosses Impaled (2025)

Label: Ancient Sound Of Madness

Tracklist:

1.Seven Crosses Empaled

2.Bloody dreams

3.Bastard Of Christ

4.City of a Legend

5.Dissidence

6.Desecration

7.King of Evil

8.Into the grave

Dissidence is an old school melodic death metal band with a big part of Swedish style followed with brutal South American style, her full-length named Seven Crosses Impaled via Ancient Sounds of Madness Productions if I describe Seven Crosses Impaled as a powerful sound technically skilled, and varied styles (old school…brutal ..melo) you get

demonic and harsh vocals with a bit and clean passages It also includes low gutturals vocals, ambitious playing and high-level of technical skill. The album features catchy riffs, intricate solos, and a mix of blast beats and double bass drumming, maybe their motivation turn between South American death metal like krisiun Ophiolatry and Rebaellium and Swedish sounds similar to Dismember and the oldy sounds makes the album more stronger and interested, I think you can easily add Seven Crosses Impaled to your collection ,no you must ! add this powerful example of Death Metal I’m sure you will be impressed Around 40 minutes

The Obsidian Resurrection – As Darkness Falls

Tracklist:

1- Apocalyptic Prologue

2:-Prophecy’s Will

3- As Darkness Falls

4- Forever’s End

5- Rise Of The Fallen

6- Edge Of Sanity

7- Born From Tyranny

8- Unholy Retribution

At first, I underestimated this style I asked myself the question : So, what style of metal is this album going to be ,I thinking symphonic and melodic metal not fit with death metal but maybe this style is a choice this style is contemporary this style is well elaborated by The Obsidian Resurrection , because a lot of opinion and reaction are positive …..Sounds awesome, Great production! mighty, melodic true metal banger. Excellent job.

Because The album successfully combines black metal's darkness, thrash metal's aggression, and death metal's brutality, creating a unique sound. (Fusion of many Extreme Metal Genres)

Despite the length of the tracks, reviewers found them to be engaging journeys, the album incorporates atmospheric passages and melodic leads, similar of older black and death metal bands

The vocals are varied and powerful, without resorting to generic fucking deathcore and modern style techniques.

In brief, the album is a cocktail of brutality, melody and overall epicness, with some critics even calling it their favourite release of the year so far and overall this fucker has a ton of extremely brutal and killer riffs …. song the pay attention “Rise of the Fallen

I think you can easily add As Darkness Falls to your collection.

Wurmian – Immemorial Shrine

Label: Pest Record

Tracklist:

1. Aeon Afterglows

2. Immemorial Shrine

3. Haven

4. Spires Of Sorrow

5. Yearning Unseen

6. Sleeping Giants

7. The Everflowing Stream

Wurmian is a French one-man band Melodic Death/Doom Metal formed in 2024 by multi-instrumentalist/vocalist Antoine Scholtès via Pest records.

Immemorial Shrine is both a great debut and logical next step for Scholtès that demonstrates the versatility of his song and riff-writing abilities because Wurmian creates an immersive, melancholic soundscape that has incredibly haunting melodies with some seriously heavy-ass doom-laden riffs followed by some technical touch a lot of positive opinion confirm and proves that Immemorial Shrine is very good some people say on YouTube: Immemorial Shrine is an excellent album, which revives with great talent a style and energy of old school melodic death metal that has been little explored in recent years. An album that sounds as much 1995 as 2025. Put it next to Majesties' Vast Reaches Unclaimed: nothing better has been done over the last decade in this very special genre! Not to be missed and I validate this.

These seven tracks are very killer melodic death, that takes you to another dimension and you can feel specific soundscape with perfect cutting-edge technology sound quality (modern production), with doomy moments and atmospheric journey in brief Antoine Scholtès did a good job

Songs to pay attention “Haven”and “The Everflowing Stream”. I think are the best songs

In any case Immemorial Shrine is truly fantastic debut of Wurmian, Immemorial Shrine unfolds across seven compositions, guiding the listener through desolate and introspective soundscapes, where solitude and existential dread intertwine. With ethereal passages and rhythmic sections influenced by death metal, Immemorial Shrine masterfully balances nostalgia with modern production, ensuring a dynamic and deeply resonant experience …… I think you can add Immemorial Shrine to your collection.

9.Flesh-Tech
10.In Death

Dodengod is an underground Death metal a band from Belgium, Heralds of a Dying Age is the second full-length album by Dodengod, seven years have passed after their debut Salvation

Dodengod has boost their sound in many aspects. It’s darker, it’s grinding, it’s an evolution in which they get rid of those doomy passages and some clean vocals to focus on a more overwhelming and crushing sound, and don’t forget the update in the lineup with the adding of the drummer Bart Bonne

To pay attention Breathe Deep the Dark this track delivers a brutal sound, and those raging grinding vocals increase the aggressive feeling like 90’s death metal bands. What an impressive wall of sound built on blast beats and rolls, infectious riffs, bestial vocals…........................ the quality is kept at high levels during the whole of the listening experience , The guitars gnash tons of rocks more or less complex riffs, and I think , you should have no no no  you must have  " Heralds of a Dying Age " in your collection.

Falsus Evangelium - Veneficvs, Barratry, et Magnvm Peccatvm (2025)

Label:Ancient Sounds of Madness Productions

Tracklist:

1.Vaskania I

2.Vaskania II

3.Vaskania III

4.Vaskania IV

Experimental Black Metal from Indonesia, this one-man band taking inspiration from famed black metal act Deathspell Omega, Falsus Evangelium seems determined to forge its own path in the territory of darkly dissonant black metal experimentation that the French act helped to pioneer. Falsus Evangelium debut work, the demo "Veneficvs, Barratry, et Magnvm Peccatvm"

taking inspiration from Deathspell Omega, Falsus Evangelium seems determined to forge its own path in the territory of black metal experimentation that the French act helped to pioneer. FE's debut work, the demo "Veneficvs, Barratry, et Magnvm Peccatvm"

the remarkablething the demois very short just four tracks and the major problem a lot of change of tempo up and down and the slow passages are repetitive which is annoying too much sudden shifts in tempo (Vaskania I and Vaskania II) because you can easily not like this concept but according to their style adapted experimental or avant-garde black metal it is not really black metal no no it is not black metal at all you really have to understand the style except  Vaskania IV  the track to pay attention ,but overall, they do well to keep it to their own sound

Falsus Evangelium doesn't just follow in the footsteps of its predecessors it pushes the boundaries of black metal, or rather their style, and offers a sonic landscape where experimentation and tradition merge to create something entirely new, but Falsus Evangelium unfortunatelymade a not very interesting start.
