remastered version)
DUSK, display
their latest masterpiece, the EP The New
Land, has five new tracks, featuring intense compositions like "Fall and Rise" "Behind My Shadow" "Insane" "The Evil Hands" and "Generation"
showcases the band's evolution since its inception in 2001.
The beginning of the EP
"Fall and Rise" directly
great iconic names back to my head like Motörhead,
Pantera or Malignant Tumour because their music is a fusion of various metal
subgenres heavy , groove , thrash,death n roll…but I advise you to pay
attention to the great opportunity of DUSK and the big advantage of the band
the pretty awesome guitar solos of Lamine
who fit perfectly with the rhythm guitar with never ending drumming following
continuous tempo. "Behind My Shadow"
begins with adownside tempo, and
then combines groove, thrash and heavy metal influences. Sometimes very fast,
they are able to slow down the rhythm by adding more heaviness to their music
during certain passages. The riffs take up a lot of space and they can hardly
deny the Dimebag Darrell influences. Behind
My Shadow is particularly intense and well done. It’s heavy with a very
strong 90s vibe.
"Insane" it describes DUSK and this is the perfect thing on
this EP this is the monster kill of The
New Land and the last two songs are "The Evil Hands" and "Generation"
In any case, you should have or try to listen The
New Land and put it in your
collection.
