This release comes
via Malpermesita Records. Ardwena has seven new tracks from Hyde with album art that really fits the
content and feel of the album
The opening "Doom Over Sabis" first clearly
leaves black metal in control with the guitar riffs and horrific and dark
vocals a dose of black metal by the rules of the art, but soon melodic doom takes
over…. In addition, the interaction between the male and female voices offers a
great performance but not too much because as soon as this dose of doom with
clean vocals in the opera-choral style becomes immediately boring than expected
and makes us forget the perfect black metal intro, particularly on the
downside. of the tempo it goes out of the circuit its break in rhythm. In''Hammer Of Doom'', they manage to
switch more between genres but with each intro of almost all the album is
pleasant like "One" but
for the mixture of genres it can be just passable in any case you can
appreciate it or not for example "One"
is 50/50, a perfect intro followed by a sudden tiring and boring tempo drop and
then a great guitar solo.
"Nadir" his summary, describes and
schematizes Hyde. "Vidlua"
and "Lay of Winter" these
are the two masterpieces of this album because I underestimated Ardwena a lot
before listening to these two titles, and to conclude Ardwena riff and
technical and heavy guitar solos accompanied by pleasant ,soft and icy feminine
vocals which take you on a journey into the full atmosphere of Hyde
