Autarkeon
is a solo project of French underground Old School Death metal a blend of raw
power and dark atmospheres, which has existed for over 15 years.
Recently Autarkeon self-released "Sous
la surface / Under the Surface" the first preview sound who take pleasure to the ears of old
schooler with old guitar riffs from first wave of death metal
A raw, dark, gritty
aesthetic inherited from the late 80s and early 90s. Unlike modern productions
often considered too polished or academically uniform, this single feature an
organic sound texture and a strong presence of macabre imagery, not to mention
the cavernous, resonant effect, especially in relation to the vocals. Abyssal
vocals: deep, guttural growls that seem to come from beyond the grave, prioritizing
raw emotion, raw crushing music with fuzzy guitars and tempo changes at right
time, unfortunately the drum programming not very fit with this work in any
case is there a little similarity with some great names maybe Autopsy ,Pestilence,
Cancer maybe Protector (I’m not sure) ……
